WAKATOBI AIRPORT SOLAR POWER PROJECT (2016)

With increasing international and domestic tourists to Wakatobi, the government upgraded Matahora airport in 2016, complete with the ground-mounted Solar Power System to support the existing supply of electricity to the airport. Under the Ministry of Transportation, responsible for the development of this airport, SEDAYU had the privilege to install the Solar Power System in 2016. Matahora Airport is the gateway to one of Indonesia’s most famous diving spots, Wakatobi, in South East Sulawesi. The airport serves as the point of entry to the Wakatobi National Park, a major international tourist destination which is located nearby.

PT Selaras Daya Utama, also known as SEDAYU, is Indonesia’s leading Solar Power Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) company based in Jakarta. As a ISO9001 and OHSAS 18001 certified company, SEDAYU has successfully commissioned more than 100 Solar Power projects throughout Indonesia.
